i think it should be $4

loadcnt=$(uptime | awk -F "." '{ print $1 }' | awk -F ":" '{ print $4 }')

[root@localhost ~]# uptime | awk -F "." '{ print $1 }' | awk -F ":" '{ print $4 }'
0
[root@localhost ~]# uptime
11:50:17 up 16 days, 24 min, 4 users, load average: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00
