I ssh to another server and run a few commands - start a few processes that run on the server.
I then type exit - by my command line hangs.
I have heard that it is waiting until anything processes you are running complete, but these processes are going to run 24*7*365 so obviously I cant wait.... (4 Replies)

Good Day
I mistakely renamed the dld.sl file in the /usr/lib directory. When i try to ls/ftp into the box i get this error :eek:
crt0: ERROR couldn't open /usr/lib/dld.sl errno:000000002

I have a script which finds for log files and removes them if the file has changed in the last day.
The script runs fine without errors. The log file is still there. So, I decided to print the find command and run the command outside the script. Getting "Incomplete statement"

I am working in a Unix Solaris server which has apache installed. I was logged into the server using ssh . I accidentally ran the arp -d command with the hostname of the logged in server and deleted the entry :confused:.

Sets ipforwarding and ipgateway to one, which means the system functions as an IP router. This option cannot be combined with the -r option. Resets ipforwarding and ipgateway to zero, which means the system does not function as an IP router. This option cannot be com- bined with the -s and -f options. Sets ipforwarding and ipgateway to one (like the -s option), and also sets ipfirewall to one, which means the system functions as an IP firewall. Additionally, sets ipsrcroute and ipchkredirects according to the specified value. The iprsetup command sets the ipgateway and ipforwarding variables in the running kernel allowing your system to function as an Internet Protocol router. When ipfirewall variable is set to one, the following variables are also set: Indicates whether IP source-routed packets are accepted (1) or dropped immediately (0). Indicates whether ICMP Redirect messages are authenticated (1) or accepted with no authentication (0). The iprsetup command is automatically executed by netsetup when you configure your network daemons.
