that seems strange, can you actually do a

just like Sendmail does ? Otherwise you can obtain an original untouched copy of mailer.conf and try to replace it.

hi when I telnet to my machine on port 25 and send an email to myself, the machine sends the email to the old corporate mail server instead of the new corporate mail server. how to change that so that any email sent from my linux box goes directly to the new mail server? thx (2 Replies)

Is it possible to get postfix to either not syslog or get it to log to a flat file in addition? I'm not the admin on this box but I am in charge of the mail server.
