How I've always seen it done is various combinations of "standard" users like 'root', 'test', and 'login' along with passwords from a dictionary file. Plain brute force. Half the time the users they try to login with don't even exist on my machine. Use complicated passwords that aren't dictionary words and you'll be pretty safe.

db2_escape_string - Used to escape certain characters
SYNOPSIS
string db2_escape_string (string $string_literal)
DESCRIPTION
Prepends backslashes to special characters in the string argument.
PARAMETERS
o $string_literal
- The string that contains special characters that need to be modified. Characters that are prepended with a backslash are x00,

RETURN VALUES
Returns $string_literal with the special characters noted above prepended with backslashes.
