How can i perform a ls or other command to list the full paths of files from a ls?
Looked through the man page for ls, no luck
$ cd /tmp/
$ ls -l
total 6
drwx------ 2 root root 4096 Nov 7 2008 keyring-7b5rMv
drwx------ 2 bcr bcr 4096 Dec 7 2007 keyring-cGhir8

I have a file abcd.txt which has contents in the form of full path file names i.e.
$home> vi abcd.txt
/a/b/c/r1.txt
/q/w/e/r2.txt
/z/x/c/r3.txt
Now I want to retrieve only the directory path name for each row
i.e
/a/b/c/
/q/w/e/

I'm trying to replace path which is part of variable inside script file:
FROM:
ABC_HOME=$ABC_ROOT/abc/1.0
TO:
ABC_HOME=$ABC_ROOT/abc/1.5
I'm using this:
perl -pi -e 's\ABC_HOME=$ABC_ROOT/abc/1.0\ABC_HOME=$ABC_ROOT/abc/1.5\g' /apps/scripts/test.sh

curl_unescape - Decodes the given URL encoded string
SYNOPSIS
string curl_unescape (resource $ch, string $str)
DESCRIPTION
This function decodes the given URL encoded string.
PARAMETERS
o $ch
-A cURL handle returned by curl_init(3).
o $str
- The URL encoded string to be decoded.
RETURN VALUES
Returns decoded string or FALSE on failure.
EXAMPLES

// Create a curl handle
$ch = curl_init('http://example.com/redirect.php');
// Send HTTP request and follow redirections
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION, 1);

NOTES
Note
curl_unescape(3) does not decode plus symbols (+) into spaces. urldecode(3) does.
