/home is controlled by the automounter, delete the entry of /home in your /etc/auto_master and restart the automounter:

# vi /etc/auto_master

/net            -hosts          -nosuid,nobrowse

in solaris 10 you will need "svcadm restart svc:/system/filesystem/autofs"
