limited ping "command" at solaris
Hi... Iam new members at this forum. and I have a little problem with "command ping"
what the "command to ping at limited time", for example
at linux
$ping -c5 10.0.0.62 and the responed as below:
64 bytes from 10.0.0.62: icmp_seq=1 ttl=128 time=0.843 ms
64 bytes from 10.0.0.62: icmp_seq=2 ttl=128 time=0.250 ms
64 bytes from 10.0.0.62: icmp_seq=3 ttl=128 time=0.245 ms
64 bytes from 10.0.0.62: icmp_seq=4 ttl=128 time=0.211 ms
64 bytes from 10.0.0.62: icmp_seq=5 ttl=128 time=0.223 ms
Responed above :5 row answer responed
BUT I don't know how to ping with limited responed (5 times answer)
at solaris/unix. (because command different)
For solution my trouble, thanks a lot.

I have line in input file as below:

My expected output for line in the file must be :

NAME
macping - A tool for pinging other RouterOS or mactelnetd devices
SYNOPSIS
mactelnet [options] <MAC-Address|hostname>
DESCRIPTION
This tool enables you to ping other RouterOS or MAC-Telnetd enabled devices. You can ping either a hostname or a MAC address. If speci-
fied, the hostname (identity) will be looked up via MNDP discovery.
OPTIONS
These programs follow the usual GNU command line syntax. A summary of options is included below.
-f Fast mode, do not wait before sending next ping request. The next ping will be sent immediately when the last ping is received. This
cannot be used with -c 0
-s Specify the amount of bytes to send in each ping packet, up to ~1400 bytes.
-c Number of packets to send before exiting. A value of 0 means unlimited packets and the tool must be exited with Control + C.
-h Show summary of options.
-v Show version of program.
