OK, thanks. I did what you said, but still MySQL can't be found. My .profile now looks exactly like this:

PATH=$PATH:$HOME/usr/local/

But when I type "which mysql" <enter>

I still get this:

no mysql in /bin /sbin /usr/bin /usr/sbin /usr/local/bin /Users/timo/usr/local/ /usr/local/bin

Can it be that there are different files setting my path? I can't really see a connection between the path I set and the error message I get. Smilie

"find . -printf" without prepended "." path? Getting path to current working directory?

If I enter (simplified): find . -printf "%p\n" then all files in the output are prepended by a "." like ./local/share/test23.log How can achieve that a.) the leading "./" is omitted and/or b.) the full path to the current directory is inserted (enclosed by brackets and a blank)... (1 Reply)

find files in sub dir with tag & add "." at the beginning [tag -f "Note" . | xargs -0 {} mv {} .{}]

I am trying find files in sub dir with certain tags using tag command, and add the period to the beginning. I can't use chflags hidden {} cause it doesn't add period to the beginning of the string for web purpose. So far with my knowledge, I only know mdfind or tag can be used to search files with...        sup-add - add a source to the Sup source list

SYNOPSIS

       sup-add [options] [source uri...]

DESCRIPTION

       Add one ore more sources to the Sup source list

       For mbox files on local disk, use the form:

	      mbox:<path to mbox file>, or

	      mbox://<path to mbox file>

       For Maildir folders, use the form:

	      maildir:<path to Maildir directory>; or

	      maildir://<path to Maildir directory>

OPTIONS

       --archive, -a
	      Automatically archive all new messages from thesesources.

       --unusual, -u
	      Do not automatically poll these sources for new messages.
