One of our admins here accidently ran chmod -R 777 in the /usr folder on a V440 running Solaris 9. After that no one could run any command and could not login. I fixed most of the things by re-restricting some rights and applying the correct rights. Now there is a problem... (3 Replies)

I'm trying to create a script to catch a process which is consuming high CPU which I have pretty much done but it's just finding the correct place to pull the current CPU for that process.
When viewed in Topas it's consuming 99.*% cpu

Name
sccsdiff - compare and display SCCS delta differences
Syntax
sccsdiff -rSID1 -rSID2 [-p] [-sn] files
Description
The command compares two versions of an SCCS file and generates the differences between the two versions. You can specify any number of
SCCS files, but arguments apply to all files.
Options
-p Displays output using command.
-rSID? Indicates deltas to be prepared. Versions are passed to in the order given.
-sn Sets number of lines each segment is to contain. This is useful when fails due to a high system load.
