Pick one and try it, is the best way.

The most commonly used versions I think are Mandrake and Redhat, BSD, Suse, etc...

I belive that it is mostly by trial and error until you find one you like. Most are either free on the internet or you can buy them for around $35 at a bookstore or online.

Here is on you can download and burn with Nero or or CD Mate. Both of which are free downloads. Do a google search for each.

Hi all: I was just wondering if someone could tell me what versions of UNIX are available to public? I'm aware of all the available distro's for Linux e.g. Debain, SuSe, RedHat, etc ...
