just starting! got some questions
I just got a book on how to use UNIX but it says to type in your host but what's the name of the host that i type in?
And after that where do I get my user id and password for that host?

I've installed Fedora Core 2 on a machine on my home network. X Windows (GNOME) is set up and works correctly, when I log in from the console.
However, when using Cygwin X from a different machine and trying to start an X session using startx it gives me the following error

it displays in one line

I want to fetch only group starting with c2 but when i grep i am getting full line. Can someone advise

i defined 2 cronjobs using putty on my 1und1-server
*/5 7-18 * * 1-5 /usr/local/bin/php4 .../script.php
30 19-6 * * 1-5 /usr/local/bin/php4 .../script.php
the first runs monday to friday between 7-18
this one works fine

asadmin-list-mimes, list-mimes - gets the MIME types
SYNOPSIS
list-mimes --user admin_user[--password admin_password][--host localhost] [--port 4848][--passwordfile filename][--secure|-s]instance_name
Gets the MIME types associated with the named server instance. The server determines the MIME type of a requested resource by invoking the
type-by-extension directive in the ObjectType section of the obj.conf file. The type-by-extension function does not work if no MIME element
has been defined in the server element.
OPTIONS
--user administrative user associated for the instance.
--password administrative password corresponding to the administrative user.
--host host name of the machine hosting the administrative instance.
--port administrative port number associated with the administrative host.
--passwordfile file containing passwords appropriate for the command (e.g., administrative instance).
--secure if true, uses SSL/TLS to communicate with the administrative instance.
OPERANDS
instance_name name of the instance.
Example 1: Using list-mimes
