I am looking to populate an (associated) array with a command line argument.
The command line would look something like this:
alert -action test -priority '10' -module test_module . . .
The associated array would look like this after the data is read in
flag=(action=test

I am writing a shell script to build Java options dynamically in a variable array and pass them to java.exe. If an option value contains a space, I cannot find a way to get it interpreted correctly. Here is my example:

I have this command in a shell script and I can get it to echo ok, but when I try to execute the command I get a "file not found" error. Which is strange because, if I copy and paste the same command at the cli it works ok.

The package textutil::string provides miscellaneous string manipulation commands. The complete set of procedures is described below. ::textutil::string::chop string A convenience command. Removes the last character of string and returns the shortened string. ::textutil::string::tail string A convenience command. Removes the first character of string and returns the shortened string. ::textutil::string::cap string Capitalizes the first character of string and returns the modified string. ::textutil::string::uncap string The complementary operation to ::textutil::string::cap.
