You can actually build, install and execute
these programs as a "regular" unix user (no
special permissions necessary) with some careful
setup if all you use it for is simply to
serve your own file transfers.
Word of caution... these protocols are NOT secure.
Anything you transmit can be intercepted, spoofed
or otherwise manipulated.

I have one strange problem. When I copy file from source to destination using scp, file size decreased in destination side. I can see that copy progress is successful in source side. But when I check file size using du -sh command file size is 10 time smaller.
