I did misunderstand. I assume that you know that Darwin 1.4.1 is derivative of BSD 4.4, so the IP configuration will be the same; the kick-butt networking stack is one of the very best parts of BSD. That being said, I'm sorry, I don't know how to configure BSD/Darwin for ADSL. Anyone?

granted that I am an absolute beginner with Solaris, I'd like to use my adsl modem, t's a Zyxel prestige 630.
