Opens Excel ? Mulo, can you give what version of Unix you are running. uname -a. Im quite shocked to hear Opens Excel. Do you have multiple partition on your hard drive ? Any automount on the otherside of your hard drive partition that forces to open an Excel apps on unix ? Also define the meaning of override. I have a feeling that this is not a Unix based problem anyway state the information above its usefull for troubleshooting.
