i get a background colour of grey ..

lockward draws a spinning, rotating set of notched wheels overlaid with some flashing effects, using OpenGL. It's a sort of cross between the wards in a combination lock and those old information displays that animated via polarized light. OPTIONS
-visual visual Specify which visual to use. Legal values are the name of a visual class, or the ID number (decimal or hex) of a specific visual. -window Draw on a newly-created window (default). -root Draw on the root window. -delay microseconds Per-frame delay, in microseconds.
