Try using "mdelete" instead of "delete". It understands wild cards better.

Same with "mput"...

When a user FTP's to their own directory, they can go up the directory and view others files, of course they can not overwrite them but are able to download them if they wish to, is there any way to stop them from view their files and have them be only able to view files that they have permissions... ecaccess-file-delete -version|-help|-manual ecaccess-file-delete [-debug] [-force] ecaccess-file DESCRIPTION
Remove the ecaccess-file. The ecaccess-file is in the form [domain:][/user-id/]path. Please read the "Shell commands -> File Management" section of the "ecaccess" guide for more information on the ECaccess File System. ARGUMENTS
