At work, Keyboard. At home, mouse.

Is the question measured in "clicks of mouse vs button presses of keyboard" or "when you are trying to perform a task, to you go into terminal or GUI"?

Because those are two very different questions. I answered keyboard on the assumption its the first, because just typing this little blurb here I got a whole lot of button presses on keyboard.

"Terminal vs gui" is probably the best way to interpret it. Extensive use of keyboard shortcuts for GUI applications also fits.

And there goes a third completely different question Smilie.

For me the answers:
keyboard v mouse clicks per hour: Keyboard
Terminal v GUI: GUI whenever possible
Keyboard Shortcuts in GUI: Yes, as many as I can

It would appear you prefer to use the keyboard when possible. Many users would rather just click through the menus every time.

Yes, but if this is really meant as terminal vs GUI then my answer is a resounding GUI. Smilie

Interesting. These being the UNIX forums, keyboard preference here often comes hand in hand with habitual shell use, but obviously not always.
