Using vi to look at video files

Is there a way to look at mpeg files using vi in a human readable format? Is there a flag that i can use?

You definately wouldnt want to do it that way.

What are you trying to see / edit?

i guess you could use hexdump to get a dump of it... thats human readable... probably not human comprehendable tho. Smilie
