UNIX for Dummies Questions & Answers

hi ! i have a file tha contains some e-mail addresses like this:

abc@...
def@...
ghi@...

i want to send the same email to all these contacts
so i want a string addresses =" abc@... def@... ghi@... "
in order to say:

mail addresses

how i can read my file in a string like above??
i know it's a dummy question but i am stuck right now...
there also might be an easier way...
