this one worked
though i am blank, how it worked.

The character at the end of the filename is not a space character, it is a "sub" character aka CTRL/Z .
We can create a file with that exact name using "touch".

Code:

touch `"echo BAL100005.10000000\0032"`

Anyway, that's irrelevant. Finding CTRL/Z in a filename often means that the erase key is not set correctly and someone has tried to correct a filename while typing at a prompt.
