Question how to change just dates not minutes
How to set the system date forward or backward just year, month or date, neither minutes nor seconds?

What for?
Thats the best way to have a dead system...
going forth in time isnt much a problem (except for unpredictable application results and cron issues...) but retruning in the past, I tell the systems doesnt like it at all...
There were software for that at a time (dont know if it still exists: Timemachine from 3S software...). If You need to do such manipulation then save your system completely first,preferably with a bootable OS copy, then when coming back in time restore the system.
