Network SCO 5.05 partition problem

Hardware:

IBM 300PL
32MB RAM
60Gig HDD

During the phase in SCO installation where I get to partition my hard disk, SCO only seems to see 8Gig out of the 60 that I have.

Does anyone out there know of a utility or what I need to do to make the the whole 60Gig available.

Thanks

From what I read on this link, it looks like there is a limit with 5.0.5

PCUNIX - 8GB limit

Thanks RTM. To be quite honest I thought of hardware limitations but did not find any evidence of it. You save me alot of time.

I guess the only way around is to upgrade/fresh install to
SCO 5.06 .

Hi there,

While installing the SCO-Unix, you have an option of partitioning of the harddisk, here you can select the option as custom and then see the available space. I think, it will show you the partition size.

May i, ask u how many partitions are making on the Harddisk. Is it a single hard disk or multiple harddisk. If it is single Hard disk, you cannot make more than 4 partitions on the disk, hence u may be facing the problem. Please do not exide more than 4 partitions under SCO-Unix.
