pfexec error

Greeting Forumers!

I got this error messages today while trying to run 'pfexec'(see the first command in the example below):

Code:
$ pfexec passwd -s root
passwd: can't get real path
$ profiles
Primary Administrator
Basic Solaris User
All
$ uname -a
SunOS system1 5.9 Generic_122300-43 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-880
$ id
uid=9124(user1) gid=14(sysadmin)

What does it mean and how can I correct it?

Thanks in Advance!!

I'm no expert on this but these messages seem to be related to running commands inside an NFS mapped directory.

Nope. This was run after the initial login. However, the root fs is a vxvm mirror, not sure if that helps.
