NAWK - Printing

Hi,
I am searching particular pattern from the big file, If the first column varies, I need to print the previous row from the file. Anybody can help for me????
For eg.
07131:5678:TEST:1000
07131:5679:TEST:1000
07131:5680:TEST:1000
07131:5681:TEST:1000
07131:5682:TEST:1000
12892:9872:RESULT:1000
12892:9873:RESULT:1000

If there is change in the column 1, 07131 changes to 12892, I need to print the row 07131:5682:TEST:1000

Rgds,
Sharif.

Something like this may work:

Code:
awk -F: 'f && $1 != f { print r }
{ f = $1; r = $0 }' infile
