DG/UX has a nice text menu for admin tasks, so you don't even have to edit any files.
type sysadm then 5 (Device) 1 (Printer) 1 (Devices) 1 (Add) Then just follow the instructions and fill in the info. At any time you can type "?" to get a list of options, "^" to go back up a level and 'q' to quit and go back to the OS prompt. Quick tip - try to use 9 (List) in the Printer menu to search for a working printer, to compare its info. |
