dhcp negotiation failed

on solaris 10, I use static ip address, and choose no dhcp during installation. But I keep receiving the following messages in my console:

Mar 9 03:43:40 ellst rmclomv: [ID 509666 kern.error] DHCP negotiation failed, perhaps misconfigured or no DHCP server available
Mar 9 03:49:58 ellst rmclomv: [ID 509666 kern.error] DHCP negotiation failed, perhaps misconfigured or no DHCP server available

Mar 9 04:23:35 ellst rmclomv: [ID 509666 kern.error] DHCP negotiation failed, perhaps misconfigured or no DHCP server available

Can anyone tell me why, and how to fix it? Thanks!

The ALOM is set to use DHCP by default on some servers. Disable it using:

# scadm set netsc_dhcp false
# scadm resetrsc
