A good ftp client
Can anyone please suggest a agood ftp client(GUI) which would support sftp ...on solaris.
I badly need it. I keep doing the transfers frequently, and some of them are binary and I am not sure how I change the mode to binary.
To avoid this and other hassles, it would help if i have a GUI client.

Waiting for ur suggestions .

guys...i found a way out. you could use the file manager/browser of solaris 10 desktop gui to access ftp/sftp sites
sftp://username@host
this will pop up a password box ..type it and u r in.

how do u tranfer files from one server to another server with same network on ftp?

You can have a look at CrossFTP Pro Client, which is a GUI FTP client supporting SFTP, FXP, WebDav, and Amazon S3. It works on multiple systems including Solaris.

download the Winscp client. It's a very nice GUI tool to copy files from Windows to any Unix servers
