Hi,

I'm going through some materials of SCSA certification. And i'm stuck with the section on printers. I do not own a printer. So, i'm finding it hard to keep up with the content in the course material. Also, google did not help much.

Can someone guide me to a place where i can get more information on the Interface program and the model options of the lpadmin command?

Hi Prithviaro17,

The lpadmin commands are from SVR4 Unix, it's not very easy to get any practical experience without a printer that you can experiment with. However if you have a serial terminal you can put that on a tty port and configure that as a printer - it will work.

A good place for learning the command basics is here, I hope that this will give you some help.
