user not connecting remotely

hi ,

I have created a user using useradd command in solaris 10 , when i connect to user oracle remotely from xmanager it is not connecting any idea did we have assign some extra privileges to connect remotely from xmanager.

Did you set a password for the user?
Can you login via utilities like putty?

yes it is connecting from putty but not from xmanager.
moreover user root is connecting from xmanager but not from new created user

can you post the command used to create the user.
Are you using xshell

did you check /etc/default /login directory..make sure there should be a hash `#` before

It seems that the user needs some extra privileges to get the expected result. Does your system uses Solaris 10 RBAC? What is the primary group of the new user?
