How can an Xsession have a later Start Time than the Xsun Start Time

You need a bare x window before you can start a window manager and accessories, and if someone logs off and back on, all their x window clients may be destroyed and recreated, but the x window could persist. The X window does not confer access, it is a server to a display device. X Clients confer access.

I am aware that Xsession gets started as part of the user login. But I see that the Xsession that is started at login, goes away and a new one is started at a later time. Does anyone know how this can happen? It seems that a fbconsole process also get started at the same time. (1 Reply)
