You cannot read a UFS filesystem created on Solaris SPARC from an OpenSolaris running on x86.

What should I install on my PC to read these details? Is there any suitable software?

Not as I know..
Get a solaris sparc server somewhere which is not in use (maybe in your office), , install Solaris OS,restore the data or plug, mount and see the details

run
#rmformat

it will show your harddisk controller name.
might be end with c#t#d#p#

then try to mount correct controller name

If I understand you right, you have a hard disk from a sparc system and you want to read it with a x86 system, right? I don't think, this is possible.

Sparc formatted disks start with a BSD label whereas x86 systems require a partition table with four entries at the beginning of the disk. So for a x86 system you disk seems to be unpartitioned.

Also, because of the diffence in the byte order between the two processor architectures, the ufs filesystem from a sparc system is not readable by a x86 system.

I think, you have to try to read the disc on a sparc system.
