sorry guys can some please give me a hint how to achieve this in a slick oneliner?

delete files older than 5 minutes in specified directory (recursively)

is this one correct?

find /mydirectory -mmin +5 -exec rm -f {} \;

could not test it since i am on a windows box right now Smilie

I created a file say file1

And I tried this

Code:
find /mydirectory -mmin +5 -exec ls -ltr {} \;

Could not locate it. So I think Your command works.
