convert Fixed length to CSV
Now a little more twisting case ...........

I would like to convert a fixed length file in to a csv file

consider a fixed length file like

12345abcd8901
12345abcd7777
12345njdu8888
12345hdku8388


output file i expect

12345,abcd,8901
12345,abcd,7777
12345,njdu,8888
12345,hdku,8388

convert date format to mysql date format in log file

I have a comma delimited log file which has the date as MM/DD/YY in the 2nd column, and HH:MM:SS in the 3rd column. I need to change the date format to YYYY-MM-DD and merge it with the the time HH:MM:SS. How will I got about this? Sample input 02/27/09,23:52:31 02/27/09,23:52:52... (3 Replies)
