Are there any IPC mechanisms in cygwin?

I wonder are there any IPC mechanisms in cygwin? such as shared memory, semaphores , message queues and piping? Thanks Jack

What output do you get from the following commands:
Code:
date|cat
man ipcs
man sem_post

If the 1st one prints today's date and time, pipes work.
If ipcs is not found, you don't have the UNIX System V shared memory, message queues, or semaphores installed (if they are available).
If sem_post is not found, you don't have POSIX shared memory, message queues, or semaphores installed (if they are available).

Thanks, I'll test them out tonight... Jack
