Please do so anyway. Using CODE-tags does two things: first, it switches to some fixed-width font, which helps in showing the structure of data (especially if they are fomatted in a table-like way) and second it preserves white char (unlike flow text, which optimizes it away). Therefore, use CODE-tags for code, terminal output, file data, and similar parts of your posts.
