Example adding 1hour 30min and 45secs, but I feel you will be better off sorting out the correct TZ settings for the Indian data entry session:

time_secs=$(date +%s '+%B %e, %Y %X" -u -d 'May 12, 2012 10:00:00 AM MST')
((time_secs += 1*3600 +30*60 + 45))
date "+%B %e, %Y %X" -u -d @$time_secs
