Check for strings
Hi,

Please let me know, why the below code is not going to "elif" part.

Code:
#! /bin/bash
string1=""
string2="Hello"

echo "string1=$string1"
echo "string2=$string2"
# condition check for nfs and snfs
if [ -n $string1 ]; then
    value=$string1
echo "**************string1=$string1"
elif [ -n $string2 ]; then
    value=$string2
echo "**************string2=$string2"
else
    return 0
fi

output:

When using -n you should always quote the string being tested.
