Can you post your code OR set xtrace and verbose, run and post the results?
Code:
#!/bin/ksh -xv

I have to second bipinajith - without seeing the trace of the script giving a context to the error msgs you posted, we can't possibly tell the source of the error. It seems to me to be with the test command - here -vx option definitively helps!

Calling grep on a per line basis is silly. The shell has many pattern matching builtins like case that are faster for plain string detection. You can do this best with 2 grep's or one sed or awk or perl
Code:
$ fgrep 'F:\app\data\misc\server' logfile.txt | fgrep -v Running

$ sed '
  /F:\\app\\data\\misc\\server/!d
  /Running/d
 ' logfile.txt
