Have a look in /usr/bin/ in order to check if you have ksh and ksh93 ( ls -l /usr/bin/ksh* )
If ksh93 is present you can check your commands like this :
Code:
#/usr/bin/ksh93
#typeset -F3 x=1.455
#echo $x
1.455

It works. If you want to use this in a script, start it that way :
Code:
#!/usr/bin/ksh93

typeset ...
....

Hope this helps

Thanks a lot for all your response. Yes, I created the code under linux environment which is using a default shell of ksh93. However, I tried to run the script in AIX server (where I am not allowed to install ksh93) then I encountered this kind of limitations. Probably, I'll work it out with the UNIX support team to install a ksh93 for me instead. Thank you for all your help! Smilie

Just check, but ksh93 is installed in standard in all the Aix servers I've met these days.
