Delete the lines from file

I have a text file say g1.txt and content of this file is ...as below
Code:
1|HideCDrive,    | : REG ADD "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer" /v NoDrives /t REG_DWORD /d 4 /f,
2|HideRunButton, | : REG ADD "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer" /v NoClose /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f,
3|DisableControlPanel, | : REG ADD "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System" /v NoDispCPL /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f ,
4|AddMycomputerIexploreandMynetworkplaceMyDocumentIcononDesktop, | : REG ADD "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explore\HideDesktopIcons
      \NewStartPanel" /v {20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D} /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f ,
5|RestrictUserToRuncmd,  | : REG ADD "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer" /v DisallowRun /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f ,

I have another file say g2.txt and content of this file is .....
Code:
REG ADD HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer /v NoDrives /t REG_DWORD /d 4 /f ,
REG ADD HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System /v NoDispCPL /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f ,
REG ADD "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explore\HideDesktopIcons\NewStartPanel" /v {20D04FE0-3AEA-1069A2D8-08002B30309D} /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f,

I want to create a script...which will read permission number from user which permission we want to delete and get its respective Permission command from g1.txt file. and delete that commands from g2.txt file.

suppose i am entering 1 then it will check
Code:
 REG ADD "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer" /v NoDrives /t REG_DWORD /d 4 /f,

in g2.txt file and if exists delete this line......and save the file

In what scripting language you want to to achieve what you want .
Is it under UNIX/LINUX or Windows?

You may try something like this,

read permission from user

Quote:
match=0
match=`grep $per g1.txt|wc -l`
#match found
if [ $match -gt 0 ]
then
command=`sed -n $match'p' g1.txt | cut -f3 -d '|' ` ###I assume file is delemeted by |
match_1=`grep $command g2.txt | wc -l `
if [ $match_1 -gt 0 ]
then
grep -v *$command* g2.txt >temp.txt
if [ -f temp.txt ]
then
mv temp.txt g2.txt
fi

i am reading numbers say 1,2,3 from user .......it will get respective commands from g1.txt file and match this commands in g2.txt file if the match exists it will delete that command line....otherwise displays message that .......command does not exists.

g1.txt and g2.txt are not consistent! Some missing space, some missing "(double quotes) etc.
Provide a correct sample and expected output!
