How to print sed results
Dear all,

How can I print results (and of course, send this result to the text file) of sed command.

I mean, I want to know which lines of which files sed command has found.

For e.g, the result text file should contains:

Please help me

your questions is not clear.

if you want to put the sed command results to one file.

then you probably redirect the output using >

your-sed-command > output.txt

I did, but the output.txt is still empty file after sed command finished

when you use sed -i

it will not produce the output

it will modify the file immediately.

use the same command without -i
# 7
