@DGPickett 3 times it asks for passwd and even i enter the right one i coudlnt login.

@ludwig normally i use a licensed GUI to connect remote servers (by using ssh2), sometimes i use telnet to connect our local servers in command line. Besides when i use the ssh -v option it printed out many lines of log:

I think the servers are not in same local area network

Hate to ask this ... what OS is the target system? And can you ssh to the system, but not as root?

both of the servers are solaris 10. I coudlnt ssh2, I could ssh but not connected after being asked 3 times password..

You will have to make sure root is allowed to login over ssh. As described in https://www.unix.com/showthread.php?t=35015, open /etc/ssh/sshd_config and make sure PermitRootLogin is set to yes.See also sshd_config for more details.

Or pull from target host as someone more innocuous who can read just as well:
