Giveing input for BACKGROUND process

hai

i want to run some of my programs in background for that i require to redirect my output and errors i got those two but i am unable to give the input to that background process

so please help me if anybody know the answer for my problem

If the processes are shell script you can use SIGNAL to trigger an action. Use the TRAP command on the script to trap signal and use the KILL command to send signal (I think signal 16 and 17 are generally reserved signals for user defined)
See man pages of signal, trap and kill.

The simplest option is to just pipe-in the input, e.g...

Alternatively, use a co-process: from man ksh...
