Here i have one more requirement, what ever the output came into result.txt file i want to export the same data into excel (.xls) file is there any solution for this.

To load the file in excel it should be sufficient to give the file a .csv extension.

All the above code will work only if the lines he need to remove starts with same letters (xxxk as given in sample.txt) . Are u sure the lines u want to delete will always have such similarity..??? if so these codes are perfectly fine.
Other wise u should open the file and delete each line individually.
