Help needed rsh

Help needed rsh
Hi All,

I have to run 1 process in around 100 box, i wrote a program for that in that i pass a file which have list of boxes. I run the below command to start the process by looping the file

rsh $i "./start.pl;exit;"

What is happening here is i am able to rsh and able start the process but not able to come out from box.
It stucks with same box and i can't loop for the next box.

Can someone help me ...

execute the remote script in background and try .. might be it's waiting for the script to complete ..

Maybe pssh is what you need ^^

I have two host ( hostA and hostB ) , now hostA can use " rsh -l userB hostB " to rsh to hostB without input the password , it work fine, but if I modify it to " rsh -l userB hostB -n "ls" " , it will pop the message "Permission denied." , could suggest what is wrong ? thx (1 Reply)

I am trying to run a Perl script using rsh. I need to be able to capture the return code value, so the calling script can handle failures properly. I cannot modify the Perl script I need to run because we use it for all of our servers. Does anyone have a suggestion? (1 Reply)
