Shell Programming and Scripting

i am new to this site and I have been benefiting a lot lately from this site. I am not very good with scripts and need ya all help.
I have loged into one of our Linux box and once log in, we can issue a command to log inside the console

[xxxxxx@nm00-01:abcd]$ wms_tl1

Connected to: localhost,2361

login:
where it asked for login and password, how can i put thoes credentials in the script to get to the command prompt, which is basically tab oriented and can be finished by pressing tabs

Take a look at Tcl/Expect it will allow you to automate pretty much any text based / command line apps.

e.g. spawn telnet localhost
expect "ogin:"
send "<login name>\r"
expect "ssword"
send "<password>\r"

If you want to create a fast autologin script the you can use the prog. autoexpect.
Autoexpect create a script script.exp in the same folder.

exp.
$autoexpect ssh yourhost.com

$ls
$.....0 May 29 02:53 script.exp

To execute run:

$./script.exp

NOTE: You "username" and "password" is in script.exp included!

Hi all,
I have a different requirement as i am new this form was unable to send the question in different form but hope fully some one will help my requirement is

I need to find the difference between current time and some x time
for eg

current time is 20:00 and my x time would be constant say 20:15 i need to get the difference at 15 is that possible
