I don't follow your sorting criteria, but:

sort -k1n -k2nr file1 file2

Try join or paste command

Hi,

I have tried with all options with sort command but nothing is gonna working for me.

can anybody please help me out?

sorry buddies, now it is working....it was the problem with old version of sort command in my system.
