Hello everybody!
Please, can u tell me what the following errors mean and how could i repair them:
svc.startd[7]:svc:/network/rpc/bind:default:Method "/lib/svc/method/rpc-bind start" failed with exit status 1.
svc.startd[7]:svc:/network/rpc/bind:default failed: transitioned to maintenance (see 'svcs -xv' for details)

svc.startd[7]:svc:/system/fmd:default:Method "/usr/lib/fm/fmd/fmd" failed with exit status 1
svc.startd[7]:system/fmd:default failed:transitioned to maintenance (see 'svcs -xv' for details)

The result of the 'svcs -xv' command is:
State: offline
Reason: Start method is running

Impact: 11 dependent services are not running:

and the /etc/svc/volatile/system-install-discovery:default.log file contains the following:

[Sep13 05:04:36 Executing start method ("sbin/install-discovery </dev/console >/dev/console 2>&1") ]

The errors apeard after i have tried to install some sound drivers.
How could i correct these errors?

They very well might have. Did you try to remove the sound drivers and reboot?

That`s the problem,i don`t know how.I`m a beginner in UNIX.
