MBK_VSS sets the pattern to be matched in a name to indicate a ground node for the tools based upon Its default value is vss. Therefore all names of the form `*vss*' in indicates a ground node. EXAMPLE

isvss searches an occurence of the string defined by the MBK_VSS(1) environment variable in the string s. If this string is not set by the user, its default value is "vss". RETURN VALUE
isvss return NULL the pattern is not present If the pattern is found, a value different from NULL is returned. EXAMPLE

Shopt -s histappend

What is the point of this? Whenever I close my shell it appends to the history file without adding this. I have never seen it overwrite my history file. # When the shell exits, append to the history file instead of overwriting it shopt -s histappend (3 Replies)
